Select one of the short silent films provided in class. Use GarageBand to create musical underscoring and sound effects for the film.

  1. Select one of the silent films.
  2. Open Garage Band and import the movie into Garageband
  3. Open the loop browser on the right side of window.
  4. Find the loops that best express the content of the film.
  5. The score should highlight major events and be coordinated with the action of the film.
  6. Apply various techniques such s volume, staggered entrances, etc
  7. Make sure the score makes sense with the film.
  8. Make sure to save your work as your progress.
  9. When you finished export your score as quick time in .mov format.
  10. Then upload your finished .mov to school tube.
